Garden Guardians is a new program by The Arc NWMS designed specifically for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This hands-on initiative teaches participants how to grow, plant, and harvest crops from seed while gaining a deeper understanding of nature. Students will explore how to care for plants and discover the importance of teamwork—both among themselves and in nature—through engaging lessons on pollinators, weather, and other natural elements. The program consists of nine biweekly sessions that provide a supportive and educational environment for all participants.
